About this product

Insurex is a natural supplement that helps to regulate the blood glucose level, assisting with energy production during and after Covid infection and can be taken with your current diabetes treatment. It is important to test your sugar levels regularly to monitor and adjust your current treatment accordingly. Blood sugar levels increase with infection and therefore it is very important to utilize your sugar during infection so that it does not cause inflammation.

Benefits of Insurex:

  • Insurex helps with the connection of Insulin to the cell membrane and lowers blood Insulin levels.
  • Insurex then helps with uptake of Glucose in the cells, providing energy to the cell to perform optimal cell function.
  • Insurex helps to reduce inflammation in Diabetes associated with Insulin resistance.
  • Insurex can be used effectively as part of a weight loss program.
  • Insurex taken before an exercise session can assist in opening the doors for glucose to enter the cells, the idea is to burn the circulating and stored glucose as soon as possible so that the body start converting fat into glucose for weight loss.
  • Insurex WILL reduce sugar cravings

Covid-19 and Insulin Resistance:

COVID-19 triggers insulin resistance in patients, causing chronic metabolic disorders that were non-existent prior to infection. Patients with diabetes mellitus are more susceptible to COVID-19 infection than those without diabetes mellitus. Patients with diabetes are more susceptible to COVID-19 infection than those without diabetes.

ACE2 expression decreases with infection, exaggerating Ang II activity with subsequent insulin resistance development, an exaggerated immune response and severe SARS-COV-2 infection. (Insulin resistance in COVID-19 and diabetes. – Abstract – Europe PMC)

What is Insulin?

Insulin is a hormone (chemical messenger) that is secreted by the pancreas, which acts as both an endocrine and exocrine gland. Endocrine glands are the system of glands that secrete hormones to regulate body functions (chemical messengers), whereas exocrine glands aid in digestion of carbohydrates and proteins.

Insulin regulates how the body uses and stores glucose and fat. Many of the body’s cells rely on insulin to take glucose from the blood for energy.

Insulin and blood glucose levels

Insulin helps control blood glucose levels by signalling the liver and muscle and fat cells to take in glucose from the blood. Insulin therefore helps cells to take in glucose to be used for energy. If the body has sufficient energy, insulin signals the liver to take up glucose and store it as glycogen.

Insulin resistance

The role of insulin is to allow cells of the body to take in glucose to be used as fuel or stored as body fat. In Insulin resistance, the body cells do not allow Insulin to bind to the receptor on the cell membrane and pushes the Insulin away. This action increases the amount of sugar in the blood as well as the amount of Insulin in the blood. When the body becomes resistant to insulin, it tries to cope by producing more insulin. People with insulin resistance are often producing too much insulin. It is therefore important to do a blood Glucose as well as a blood Insulin test to measure the multitude of the problem.

Insulin and fat storage

Insulin is involved in the regulation of blood glucose, as well as in how fat is used by the body. When the liver has taken up its capacity of glucose, insulin signals fat cells to take up glucose to be stored as triglycerides. An additional effect of insulin is in inhibiting the breakdown of fats. This is the reason why Insulin resistance is also associated with weight gain.
